Appointment of a Vicar for Croydon Minster

Our Patron, the Archbishop of Canterbury, is seeking to appoint a Vicar for Croydon Minster.

Croydon Minster, in the Diocese of Southwark, is a modern Minster church in the liberal catholic tradition situated in the heart of Croydon; an area which will over the next few years see significant development and change.  We are a living, growing church seeking an experienced, confident priest with exceptional leadership skills and a generous, compassionate heart who will:

  • Enable the Minster to play a leading role in the church’s response to a changing Croydon;
  • Value and enhance our inclusive worship and inspiring liturgy;
  • Support and encourage our strong choral tradition;
  • Lead and inspire us, with the communication skills to develop a rapport with people of all ages and backgrounds; and
  • Work collaboratively as part of a close knit team and with partners to develop the Minster’s ministry in the borough.

There is a 4-bedroom eco-house vicarage in the South Croydon.
